Commercial Department

The commercial department consists of the teams; conference & events, room reservations, restaurant reservations, revenue management, sales and marketing & communications. Together with this team, you are responsible for selling the hotel through the right channels. A day at the conference & events department is never the same. From small board meetings to large events, at Hotel Okura Amsterdam, the sky is the limit. The reservations department is responsible for processing all the reservations of the restaurants and rooms. You ensure a smooth booking process and are in close contact with guests and our colleagues front of house to meet all requests. Revenue management determines the right pricing strategy and is responsible for gaining revenue. As part of the sales team you are always looking for new opportunities. Representing our hotel means having close contact with different types of clients in the business to business, such as corporate clients and event planners. The marketing & communications team takes care of all the external communication of the hotel. You are promoting the hotel to individual guests. Next to that, you ensure the right implementation of the brand guidelines and that the brand image is guaranteed.
