What to expect?

The English definition of the Japanese word Nagomi, is to “calm down”; the essence of the wellness. The 300m2 wellness offers an escape out of the bustling city. Besides the treatments in Nagomi Spa, our guests may also enjoy the facilities of the Nagomi Gym & Wellness, which is located just next to the Spa area.

In this traineeship you will represent the Nagomi Gym & Wellness reception area.

Your main tasks will be:

• Welcoming and guiding all guests to the Gym and/or Wellness in a hospitable and professional manner;
• Always be present for our guests;
• Providing all necessities to our guests and members for their stay;
• Ensuring for open and clear communication with other departments;
• Additional administrative tasks.

Don’t worry you won’t be working alone! Besides working in your own team, you will work closely with other departments in the hotel. As only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work is carried out in shifts throughout a 7-day workweek with times consisting of: 06:30 – 14:30, 10:00 – 18:00 and 14:00 – 22:00. You will work 5 days a week, 7.6 hours per day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

• Salary: Trainee compensation of €750 euros (gross) per month based on a full time traineeship
• Holidays: for an internship agreement with a minimum of 6 months, you will get 1 day off per month;

What are we asking?

Of course, we are first and foremost interested in you and what we as an employer can do for you to provide a great workplace. Nevertheless, we expect from you that:

• You are an enrolled student with an interest/specialization in Hospitality, Tourism, Sports or Wellness;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written);
• You have good communication and social skills;
• You are flexible in terms of working times and shifts;
